Critical Infrastructure Engineer

Operate and maintain critical electrical systems in a data center, including UPS equipment, generators, transfer switches and switchgear. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance, respond to incidents, coordinate vendors, support capacity planning and commissioning, and maintain operating procedures while meeting safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical data center electrical infrastructure.
• Inspect, test, and perform preventive maintenance on UPS systems, generators, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Respond to system alarms, failures, and incidents to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Support capacity planning, infrastructure improvements, and commissioning of new systems.
• Maintain SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.
