Job Description

Sales Advisor

Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday
Salary: £30,973.00 + 30% OTE

Office based for the first 6 months with a view to moving to hybrid working depending on capability (3 office, 2 home).

We're looking for ambitious, target-driven sales professionals to join our SME Customer Success teams, helping small businesses across the UK grow with BT and EE.

If you thrive in a fast-paced contact centre environment, enjoy hitting targets, and want to develop a long-term sales career, this is your opportunity to step into a role with real earning potential, variety, and progression.

What you'll be doing

You'll be at the heart of SME growth, using strong sales skills and customer conversations to win and grow business by converting inbound and outbound leads, while upselling and cross-selling across mobile, connectivity and digital services.

You'll manage a portfolio of SME customers, build relationships with business owners and decision-makers, and use outbound activity to identify needs and match the right solutions, while keeping CRM systems accurate and following best practice.

You'll work in a target-driven environment to achieve sales, revenue and activity KPIs, build and manage a strong pipeline, and ensure opportunities are progressed effectively to deliver consistent growth.

There are roles within both our Acquisition and Customer success teams and will discuss both throughout the assessment process:

Acquisition

This role is primarily focused on new business sales, targeting smaller SME Business customers (0–49 employees) with a strong emphasis on outbound cold calling activity and pipeline generation.

Customer Success

This role is more relationship-led, with a broader focus on ongoing account management. This includes retention, upsell, and growth of existing customers, alongside some new business activity (10–50 employees).

What you'll need to succeed

Essential

  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to sell, influence and build trust
  • Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools
  • A positive, coachable mindset with a willingness to learn

Desirable

  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in telesales or outbound sales environments

What's in it for you?

Tailored benefits make a real difference. That's why we offer a comprehensive range to support your growth, wellbeing and everyday life. You can design the package to suit you and your lifestyle. Your core benefits include:
