About you Commercial experience in AI Engineering, Applied AI or a related software development role Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs into applications Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings and vector databases Familiarity with AI development frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar Knowledge of REST APIs, cloud environments and application architecture Exposure to Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms would be advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for developing practical AI solutions What you'll do Design, build and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions Integrate LLMs, AI APIs and intelligent capabilities into existing applications and systems Develop AI-driven workflows, agents and automation solutions Build and maintain scalable applications using modern software engineering practices Evaluate AI solutions for performance, reliability and output quality Work closely with software, data and product teams to deliver effective technical solutions Contribute to the evolution of AI development practices, tools and architecture Please note: Applicants must currently be based in Belfast or elsewhere in Northern Ireland.
