An excellent opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to join an established organisation and support the effective operation of security controls, services and processes across the business.

You'll work across on-premises and cloud environments, supporting security operations, assurance, risk, incident response and compliance while working closely with Technology teams, suppliers and business stakeholders.

The role offers a broad security remit and the opportunity to contribute to the continued improvement of security controls and processes.

Information Security Analyst Responsibilities

Support day-to-day security operations, monitoring SOC and SIEM outputs, investigating alerts and supporting incident response.

Perform security assurance, gap analysis and compliance activities, identifying risks and tracking remediation with control owners.

Support security policies, standards and procedures, ensuring security activities are documented and auditable.

Assist with third-party security reviews, internal and external audits and regulatory requests, providing evidence of effective security controls.

Produce security reports and metrics, analyse emerging threats and contribute to continuous improvement.

Support security awareness activities and promote a positive security culture across the organisation.

Information Security Analyst Requirements

Experience in information security, IT risk or IT operations.

Good understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats and security controls.

Experience with incident management, risk assessment and assurance activities.

Exposure to SIEM, endpoint protection or vulnerability management tooling.

Understanding of cloud security concepts, ideally including Azure.

Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.

Experience working within regulated or enterprise environments.

Relevant security qualifications or certifications, or currently working towards them, would be advantageous.
