Job Description
Duration: 18 Months Contract
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Note: The required certification is CISSP, reinforcing the expectation that this is a senior-level security architecture/governance role rather than a hands-on firewall engineering position.
Top Must-Have Skills:
1. Strong cybersecurity/security architecture background
2. CISSP certification
3. Experience with security policy, governance, compliance, and audit readiness
4. Strong understanding of SIEM/security monitoring, ideally including Palo Alto XSIAM
5. Palo Alto firewall experience — preferred and potentially a hard requirement
6. Azure/cloud security experience
7. Ability to understand and work across network/infrastructure and cybersecurity
8. Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and whiteboarding skills
9. Comfortable working 100% on-site
10.Senior enough to mentor the existing team and drive the security function forward
