JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Analytics Analyst serves as a strategic partner to sales leadership, delivering data driven insights, performance analytics, and reporting that drive business decisions and improve commercial outcomes. This role is responsible for developing scalable reporting solutions, analyzing sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze sales performance trends across teams, territories, products, and customer
segments.
Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, productivity, and revenue
performance.
Monitor key performance indicators and provide insights into leading and lagging
business metrics.
Conduct ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to support strategic priorities and leadership
decisions.
Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions using Power BI,
Salesforce, Excel, and other BI tools.
Deliver timely, accurate, and visually compelling reporting for sales leadership and
executive stakeholders.
Translate complex data into clear business narratives and actionable recommendations.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of sales reporting and KPI definitions.
Partner with sales leaders to understand business challenges and identify data-driven
solutions.
Support strategic initiatives through analytical modeling, performance measurement,
and outcome analysis.
Improve reporting automation and analytics processes to increase efficiency and
scalability.
Skills:
3+ years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or related analytical roles.
Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience creating executive-level reporting and presentations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or
related field.
