Job Title: Full Stack Lead Developer (Node, React, Python)
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)
 
Job Summary
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development using Node.js and solid experience in React-based frontend applications.
  • The role requires deep capabilities in API design, database engineering, and CI/CD pipelines, along with working knowledge of Python for building scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs using Node.js.
  • Build and integrate frontend components using React.js to deliver responsive and user-centric interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring production-grade scalability and reliability.
  • Contribute to system architecture, microservices design, and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Drive CI/CD implementation, build pipelines, and automated deployments.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, functional testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide support for production systems, including root cause analysis and performance improvements.
  • Utilize Python at a basic to intermediate level for backend services, scripting, and integrations.
Required Skills
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Node.js
    • Express.js or similar frameworks
    • RESTful API design and development
    • React.js frontend development
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Database design and SQL/NoSQL systems
    • CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
    • Microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience with:
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
    • Cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and development best practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of Python, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in full stack and backend development.
