Senior Growth Equity Investor (Remote)

Summary

A capital solutions platform for venture GPs is looking to hire a Senior Growth Equity Investor based anywhere in the US. The firm offers debt and equity financing across the GP capital stack and runs it all on one proprietary data and analytics platform.

Tier 1 VC funds and the founders of two major asset managers back the firm and the Senior Growth Equity Investor will work alongside the Founder and a Senior Advisor who has deployed $100B+ in growth and venture.

The Senior Growth Equity Investor is a founding-stage role covering $1B+ rounds in top tier companies and will set the underwriting standards from Day One.

Responsibilities

• Cover a focused list of top late-stage and pre-IPO names day to day and form a house view on whether each one is worth an investment going forward.

• Reach out to and build relationships with venture GPs, the main sourcing channel, and bring new GPs onto the platform.

• Lead due diligence and equity underwriting: revenue trajectory, cap tables, round terms, IPO readiness and exit pathways.

• Build MOIC and IRR models with base, bear and stress cases, write investment memos and present them to leadership and the Risk Committee.

• Work directly with the Founder and leadership in a fast-moving startup, switching gears quickly and help shape the firm's risk framework and analytics platform

• Build the firm’s view on the world's most prominent late-stage private companies including Anthropic, OpenAI, Anduril and Stripe, among others.

Requirements

• 4 - 8+ years of experience in Pre-IPO or TMT investment banking and / or growth or late-stage investing experience at a VC fund, software PE firm or SPV syndication platform.

• Strong technical skills and the ability to take initiative and own deals end to end.

Compensation

The total compensation package includes a competitive base salary plus carry and ESOP.
