Software Architect

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing and developing large-scale ServiceNow environments, a solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL frameworks, server-side API development expertise, and proficiency in PowerShell scripting. The role also involves workflow automation, multi-cloud resource provisioning, platform governance, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer to team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, implement, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow applications and solutions.
• Administer and maintain ServiceNow Development, Test, and Production environments, ensuring platform stability, availability, security, and performance.
• Manage platform configurations, system updates, application promotions, environment cloning, and change management activities.
• Create, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow forms, workflows, business rules, automation, and self-service features.
• Develop and maintain server-side APIs and integrations between ServiceNow, third-party applications, and cloud-based solutions.
• Implement automated workflows to streamline ITSM processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
• Leverage ServiceNow capabilities to establish a unified framework for multi-cloud resource provisioning, management, and governance.
• Research and evaluate third-party technologies and cloud solutions to ensure seamless integration with the ServiceNow platform.
• Apply ITSM and ITIL best practices to improve service delivery, incident management, problem management, change management, and configuration management processes.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, system operations, integrations, and routine maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, configuration, and platform-related issues and provide advanced technical support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and customers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, implementation procedures, and operational support materials.
• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. ServiceNow Platform Development and Administration: Strong experience managing, developing, configuring, and supporting large-scale ServiceNow environments.
2. IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL: Solid understanding of ITSM concepts, ITIL frameworks, and enterprise IT service delivery processes.
3. Server-Side API Development: Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining APIs and integrations for enterprise applications.
4. PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, system integration, and operational support.
5. Experience maintaining multiple ServiceNow environments, including Development, Test, and Production.
6. Experience developing ServiceNow workflows, forms, automation, and self-service capabilities.
7. Knowledge of cloud technologies, third-party integrations, multi-cloud resource provisioning, and governance.
8. Experience with application configuration, system upgrades, change management, deployment, cloning, and security controls.
9. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and technical design skills.
