Wi-Fi Connectivity Field Test Engineer

Join a connectivity test team at a global consumer product company. You will validate, optimize and troubleshoot wireless and short-range connectivity across real-world field and lab environments.

Responsibilities:

- Field and lab testing of Wi-Fi, UWB, NFC and GNSS on consumer devices.

- Use sniffers, analyzers and other test tools to assess performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

- Identify, report and help resolve defects with the engineering team.

- Use Python scripting for test automation and data analysis.

- Write clear test reports with methods, results and recommendations.

Qualifications:

- 2-6 years of wireless connectivity testing, with a strong focus on field testing (Wi-Fi, UWB, NFC or GNSS).

- Hands-on with sniffer and analyzer tools.

- Basic Python scripting; comfortable using AI/LLM tools to adapt and automate.

- Adaptable, proactive and eager to learn new technologies.

- Willing to do outdoor field testing and work extra hours when needed.

- Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Contract: 12+ months

Onsite: Cupertino, CA

Rate: 45-55/hr DOE
