Théodor Brasserie is our modern French brasserie in Berlin-Charlottenburg, located in the former Mommseneck on Mommsenstraße. The restaurant brings new life to a historic City West location and combines French brasserie cuisine, selected wines, warm service and a lively, elegant atmosphere.

Our goal is to establish Théodor as an all-day dining destination, with services developing across breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are looking for people who enjoy quality, structure and teamwork and want to help shape a young restaurant as it grows.

The Role

As part of the Stewarding team at Théodor, you keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service. You ensure that dishes, cutlery, pots and kitchen equipment are cleaned properly and available when the team needs them.

You work closely with the kitchen and service teams to keep things moving throughout a busy day. From maintaining an organised dishwashing area to handling waste and supporting deliveries, your work is essential to a smooth restaurant operation.

We are looking for reliable, hands-on people who take pride in their work, support their colleagues and understand that great hospitality depends on a strong team behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities

• Wash and correctly store dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
• Operate dishwashing equipment and report faults promptly
• Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, work surfaces and storage areas clean and organised
• Follow hygiene procedures, cleaning schedules and food safety standards
• Handle cleaning products safely and use the appropriate protective equipment
• Sort and dispose of waste and recycling correctly
• Support the team with receiving deliveries and storing goods
• Assist with basic kitchen preparation when required and instructed
• Communicate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure clean equipment is available throughout service

• A minimum of +3 years in stewarding, dishwashing or a professional kitchen is welcome, but not essential
• Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene, with a willingness to learn our procedures
• Reliable, punctual and thorough approach to work
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organised during busy services
• Willingness to carry out hands-on work, including standing for extended periods and handling kitchen equipment
• Basic German or English sufficient to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Respectful attitude, strong team spirit and willingness to support others
