Patient Access Representative

• Location: Wichita, KS
• Facility: Via Christi Clinics
• Department: Float Staffing
• Schedule: Day Shift | Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, Hours from 7am-6pm

• Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
• Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
• Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
• Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

• Prior medical office experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between AMG clinic locations in Wichita for float coverage.
• Flexibility to work variable clinic hours depending on assigned location.
