Finance Manager (Management Accounting)

FM role with hybrid management accounting (65%) and financial accounting (35%) responsibility

The Opportunity
This long-established, diversified Australian property group is seeking an astute Finance Manager to join it's team based on the CBD fringes
Reporting into the FC (and as his future successor) you'll drive consolidated management reporting for the group, lead budgeting processes for corporate accounts as well as a few key business units, and assist with cash-flow forecasting responsibilities
You will be tasked with the management of two Accountants as well as oversight of GL management of the business, take part in finance system projects (alongside the systems accountant) and support general BAS and FBT tasks
About you
You are a CA or CPA-qualified Finance Manager or experienced Senior Accountant with solid accounting skills from a complex organisation (with multiple entities)
Ideally you'll have some experience in management reporting and budgeting however my client will also be happy to develop this skillset
Candidates from chartered backgrounds will be highly regarded.

We are also considering first time movers at Manager level
Excellent written & verbal communication skills and sophisticated stakeholder engagement capability, both essential
