We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Data Modeler/Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level data models and database solutions. This position will support existing mission-critical applications and new projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with Oracle database development and data modeling, advanced PL/SQL development skills, and extensive hands-on experience with Erwin Data Modeler or a similar data modeling tool. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting business requirements, developing functional database code, performing unit testing, troubleshooting and resolving defects in legacy applications, and supporting production implementations. The candidate must be a strong team player and communicator who can effectively collaborate across technical and business teams and work with source control across multiple simultaneous development branches.

What You ll Do

• Design and maintain logical and physical data models for enterprise Oracle database environments
• Analyze business requirements and develop scalable database solutions in partnership with business and technical teams
• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and queries
• Create, maintain, and document enterprise data models using Erwin Data Modeler or comparable tools
• Perform database analysis, normalization, schema optimization, indexing, and data integrity improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug, revise, and enhance existing and legacy database applications and code
• Support database development, testing, deployment, and production implementation activities
• Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver effective database solutions
• Provide production and third-tier support for complex technical issues as needed
• Maintain technical and database documentation and follow established source control processes

What You'll Need
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Oracle database development and data modeling
• 5+ years proven experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad, SQL Plus
• Ability to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures
• Ability to work with collections
• Ability to work with async processes
• Interpret execution plans and optimize queries and functions
• Ability to create complex DML and debug
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Attention to detail is of the utmost importance
• Advanced hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
• Strong experience with Erwin Data Modeler or a comparable enterprise data modeling tool
• Extensive experience creating logical and physical data models
• Strong experience with the following: Oracle Database, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Erwin Data Modeler, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling, Enterprise Data Modeling, Database Design, Relational Database Design, Data Normalization, Schema Optimization, Database Performance Tuning, TOAD for Oracle, Source Control, Unit Testing, Production Support
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts including normalization, entity relationships, indexing, constraints, schema design, and performance optimization
• Experience working with large and complex enterprise databases
• Ability to create views, packages, functions, stored procedures, and complex DML statements
• Experience interpreting execution plans and optimizing queries and functions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Experience with TOAD for Oracle
• Experience supporting mission-critical or legacy enterprise applications
• Experience working with source control processes and multiple development branches
• Experience providing production and third-tier application or database support
• Experience working with asynchronous processes and collections in PL/SQL development
