Project Manager - PS&P
Location / Work Setup
  • Location: Greensboro, NC
  • Work Type: Onsite - 4 days per week
  • Employment: W2 Only
Responsibilities
Project Management
  • Lead project planning, scope, schedule, resources, milestones, and governance.
  • Manage RAID items, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide project status reporting and maintain strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery accountability.
  • Manage project quality and change-control activities.
Delivery Lifecycle
  • Coordinate requirements and design activities.
  • Manage System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Oversee defect management, readiness, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Support hypercare and transition to production support.
What Will This Person Be Working On
  • Lead project planning and execution for PS&P initiatives by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, schedules, dependencies, resource needs, and governance expectations with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, SAP functional and technical resources, infrastructure, security, testing teams, external vendors, and business subject-matter experts to maintain alignment and delivery accountability.
  • Maintain integrated project plans and track actions, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and change requests; escalate items requiring leadership direction and follow through to closure.
  • Prepare clear project status reports covering accomplishments, upcoming milestones, schedule health, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and required management actions.
  • Facilitate project meetings, requirements workshops, design reviews, testing checkpoints, readiness reviews, cutover planning sessions, and post-launch stabilization meetings; document decisions, owners, and due dates.
  • Coordinate SIT and UAT planning, test readiness, execution progress, defect triage, business sign-off, deployment readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to support.
  • Apply change-control and quality-management practices to validate scope changes, assess business and technical impacts, coordinate approvals, and protect committed delivery outcomes.
What We Want
  • Strong project planning and execution experience across scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and governance.
  • Experience coordinating SAP functional and technical teams, infrastructure, security, testing, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong RAID management, project tracking, risk and issue escalation, dependency management, and change-request experience.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to prepare executive-ready project status updates.
  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops, design reviews, testing checkpoints, readiness reviews, and cutover planning.
  • Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, defect triage, business sign-off, deployment readiness, go-live, hypercare, and transition to support.
  • Strong understanding of change-control and quality-management practices, including assessing business and technical impacts and coordinating approvals.
