Operations Training Manager - Manufacturing

Agropur is seeking an Operations Training Manager to lead training across our North American dairy manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will design and deliver operations, safety, quality, and compliance training for plant teams, supporting consistent performance and continuous improvement. You will assess skill gaps, build structured curricula, and manage onboarding and certification programs. Partnering closely with operations, QA, and EH&S leaders, you'll align training with GMP, regulatory, and customer requirements while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain operations training programs for manufacturing teams in dairy production facilities
• Assess skill gaps and develop curricula, SOP-based training, and competency assessments for plant operations roles
• Lead onboarding and certification programs for operators, supervisors, and production staff
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Partner with plant leadership, QA, and EH&S to align training with regulatory, food safety, and GMP requirements
• Track training metrics, maintain records, and report on effectiveness and compliance status
• Continuously improve training content using feedback, performance data, and audit findings
• Support change management for new processes, technology, and equipment through targeted training
