The Role

• Support the development, delivery, and maintenance of the Product Safety Management System and Safety Case.
• Ensure products are safe to own, operate, and maintain, meeting all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment, considering environmental and operational challenges.
• Contribute to the development of the Project Product Safety Case, including preparing Safety Case Reports with evidence-based technical arguments.
• Administer and manage the Project Hazard Log to ensure timely risk mitigation.
• Apply STEM knowledge to interpret technical data and support safety activities across the product lifecycle.

What You'll Need

• A Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Safety Management Systems.
• Proven ability to undertake hazard and risk assessment activities.
• Experience supporting the development of Product Safety Cases.
• Proficiency in managing project hazard logs and associated documentation.
• A strong understanding of engineering and programme requirements related to product safety.
