Job Description

Job Title: Senior ATE Technician
Location: San Jose, CA
Job Description:
  • General requirements for day-to-day support
  • Docking and Undocking: Mechanically interfacing the ATE tester with Handlers
  • Loadboard/DIB Installation: Carefully installing the Device Interface Boards (DIBs), ensuring pogo-pin alignment is perfect to avoid "crushed pins" or poor contact.
  • Change-over: Swapping out "kits" (sockets, stiffeners, and plungers) when transitioning the line from testing one SoC model to another.
  • Continuity/Isolations Checks. Load board debug and validation.
  • Pin/Socket Repair: Work with vendors to handle maintenance and repair.
  • Tester Calibration: Running diagnostic routines and calibration to maintain system up time.
  • Running Test Plan for the day. Load program and test parts as directed by the ATE Engineer to collect data for performance reviews.
  • Support Shipping and Receiving Equipment
