Senior AI Engineer

Job Description
A leading fintech AI platform is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to spearhead the development, implementation, and productionization of advanced AI solutions. This role reports directly to senior engineering leadership and partners closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI-driven features and maintain a position at the technological forefront.
Responsibilities:

• Leverage best-in-class market AI models to build and deploy solutions from concept to production for a diverse client base.
• Integrate advanced AI models and systems into existing products and workflows.
• Architect scalable AI systems, including model orchestration, caching strategies, and fallback procedures.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies to ensure the platform remains innovative.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure robust and efficient implementation of AI systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar, delivering, shipping, and testing enterprise-grade software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with production-level LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), with strengths in rate-limiting, cost-effectiveness, and real-time performance monitoring.
• Strong background in using data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for AI workflows.
• Demonstrated use of frameworks like RAG in production applications, enhancing proprietary data models.
• Practical experience in AI system testing, such as model evaluation, A/B testing, and post-deployment performance monitoring.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to network appliances (firewalls, routers, load balancers) is a plus.
• Familiarity working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
