Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of one of Europe's leading paper industry companies, known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the production of graphic papers, corrugated base paper, and corrugated packaging. This established, family-run business offers a secure and forward-thinking work environment.

The Role

  • Operate and monitor production machinery both on-site and remotely via the process control system (PLS).
  • Manage the start-up and shutdown procedures of the paper machine, including re-threading the paper web in case of breaks.
  • Execute felt changes and guide support personnel.
  • Conduct cleaning of machinery components and change scrapers.
  • Adjust and verify paper web tension.
  • Oversee quality parameters using PLS, QLS, and laboratory reports.

What You'll Need

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Experience with shift work (5-shift rotation).
