Location: 39455 John Lanier Rd, Walker, LAEmployment Type: Full-Time, At-Will, Safety-SensitiveEqual Opportunity Employer – M/F/V/D\nJob Summary\nDeltak Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Hotshot CDL Transport Driver to support delivery operations and assist with general shop responsibilities when not on the road.\nThe driver will be provided a NEW TRUCK AND NEW TRAILER for company delivery operations.\nThis role requires a dependable, safety-focused driver with extensive experience operating Class A combination vehicles, loading and unloading materials, and hauling flatbed, gooseneck, and hotshot trailers.\nThis is a dual-function role: primary duties include transport work, while secondary duties include assisting with shop tasks as assigned.\nResponsibilities\n\n Operate a new company truck and trailer for assigned delivery and transportation operations\n Make deliveries as needed to meet customer and company requirements\n Arrive early or work extended hours when necessary to meet customer demands\n Load and unload materials and equipment\n Properly secure loads using chains, straps, tarps, and other required equipment\n Perform delivery duties using hotshot, flatbed, or gooseneck trailers\n Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers\n Maintain logs, inspection records, fuel documentation, and related paperwork\n Keep vehicles and trailers clean and in proper operating condition\n Wear proper PPE and follow all company safety protocols\n Follow applicable DOT regulations and company transportation procedures\n When not driving, perform various shop duties as assigned\n\nRequirements\n\n Minimum 10 years of experience driving a Class A Combination Vehicle (GCWR or GCW of 26,001+ lbs with a towed unit over 10,000 lbs)\n Minimum 8 years of experience loading and unloading materials or equipment\n Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)\n Minimum 8 years of experience operating a forklift for loading and unloading material and equipment\n Experience with hotshot, flatbed, or gooseneck hauling\n Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, weight limits, and safe load securement\n Clean driving record with strong safety habits\n Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively with customers and shop personnel\n\nEquipment Provided\nNEW TRUCK + NEW TRAILER\nThe selected driver will operate a new company truck and new trailer for assigned transportation and delivery duties.\nPhysical Requirements\n\n Must pass a pre-employment drug test, alcohol test, and physical exam\n Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8–10 hour shift\n Ability to work indoors or outdoors in year-round weather, including rain\n Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs occasionally while utilizing all proper lifting procedures and practices\n Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling\n Ability to wear all required PPE for the position\n\nWhy Join Deltak Manufacturing?\nThis is an opportunity for an experienced CDL driver who values safety, reliability, quality equipment, and teamwork.
