Type: Full Time Location: Nellis AFB, NV Overtime Exempt: Yes Reports To: ARMADA HQ Security Clearance Required: Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) access. *****************CONTINGENT UPON AWARD*********************** ARMADA is seeking a highly qualified Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) to support the 414th Combat Training Squadron (414 CTS) Red Flag Vault Operations Services contract at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This position provides direct assistance to the 414 CTS Security Manager in protecting personnel, information, facilities, and materials from espionage, terrorism, unauthorized disclosure, and other threats to national security. The Information Protection Specialist supports multiple security disciplines, including information, personnel, industrial, physical, computer, operations, and communications security while assisting with the administration of collateral security programs supporting Red Flag and Combatant Command (COCOM) exercises. Duties & Responsibilities: * The Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) will assist the 414 CTS Security Manager in administering collateral security programs. * Protect organizational personnel, facilities, information, and materials from espionage, terrorism, unauthorized disclosure, and compromise. * Support information, personnel, industrial, physical, computer, operations, and communications security programs. * The Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) will serve as a security point of contact for military personnel, contractors, and the general public. * Process Red Flag visitor requests and supporting security documentation. * Communicate security documentation requirements and suspense timelines to participating organizations. * The Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) will notify participating units that fail to meet established security processing timelines. * Assist with maintaining automated databases used to collect and manage security access information for exercise participants. * Enter participant security access information into databases supporting Red Flag security operations. * Provide general security support in accordance with Department of Defense security policies and procedures. * The Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) will assist with the review of information protection programs and recommend corrective actions when necessary. * Investigate security incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence. * Assist with implementing security procedures governing classified information, facilities, and personnel. * The Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) will advise managers, operating officials, and contractors regarding established security policies, procedures, methods, and techniques. * Support security planning for new facilities, missions, and organizational initiatives. * The Information Protection Specialist (Assistant Collateral Security Manager) will perform other duties as assigned in support of contract requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): * Comprehensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) information, personnel, industrial, and physical security principles, policies, procedures, methodologies, techniques, equipment, and information protection requirements supporting classified operations and facilities. * Knowledge of security classification guidance, access eligibility requirements, and the protection of classified and sensitive information, with the ability to safeguard classified materials while maintaining strict accountability. * Skill in conducting security reviews, inspections, and program assessments; collecting and analyzing security information; evaluating program effectiveness; and recommending practical corrective actions to resolve identified security issues. * Ability to investigate security incidents involving the unauthorized disclosure, compromise, or loss of classified information and document findings in accordance with established security policies and procedures. * Ability to plan, conduct, document, and support information protection program reviews while providing security guidance and recommendations to managers, supervisors, contractors, and military personnel. * Ability to comply with all applicable Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, ACC, OPSEC, information security, personnel security, industrial security, and physical security directives. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment. Minimum/General Experience: * Experience supporting information, personnel, industrial, or physical security programs. * Experience conducting security reviews, collecting and analyzing information, and resolving security issues. * Experience investigating security incidents and recommending corrective actions. * Experience advising management on security policies, procedures, and requirements. * Experience applying Department of Defense security policies and procedures. * Must be eligible to meet installation access requirements and maintain all credentials required to perform contract duties. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) access. Minimum Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required, bachelor's degree preferred.
