We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.

  • Build RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

  • Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.

  • Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Java development.

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

  • Experience with SQL databases and microservices.

  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred: AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes experience.
