Research Associate - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Cambridge, MA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role involves performing experiments, organizing data, and analyzing results within a biopharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will support late-stage protein characterization and structural elucidation using advanced analytical methods such as liquid chromatography (LC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE).
Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain sample inventories to track sample receipt, storage, status, and disposition
• Support late-stage protein characterization, structural elucidation, and forced degradation studies using liquid chromatography (LC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE)
• Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, qualify, and transfer analytical methods for monitoring critical quality attributes
• Perform routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision
• Effectively transfer experimental methods from literature to the lab and make modifications as necessary
• Interpret complex analytical data and author, review or verify technical documentation
• Contribute to internal reports, papers, presentations, and regulatory documents
• Effectively troubleshoot equipment and experimental difficulties

Requirements:

• Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Analytical Chemistry
• One of the following combinations of education and experience:
• Master's degree
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience
• Associate's degree and 4 years of experience
• High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
• Experience with sample and inventory management
• Experience with biologics testing by liquid chromatography (LC)
• Experience with biologics testing by capillary electrophoresis (CE)
• Knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and instruments

Pay range: up to $30.32 per hour
