Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated Graduate of Architecture to join our dynamic team in Surry Hills (right next to Central Station). This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative building and construction projects while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the design and development of architectural solutions that meet client needs and enhance community spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs and drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to develop project concepts.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design development.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and present design ideas.
• Support the preparation of project documentation and reports.
• Research building materials and construction methods to inform design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Masters in Architecture or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years professional experience (this can include working as a student)

Adept at designing a range of projects, from conceptual design through detailed documentation

• Strong multi or single residential profile
• Minimum 2 years Revit documentation experience
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing design work and projects completed during studies.
