Job Description

Start Date: ASAP (Flexible)

Location: Marietta, GA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Weekly Pay: $1,900/week (includes stipend)

Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM and 6:45 AM-7:15 PM | Every other weekend

2 major, 2 minor Holidays

Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles from facility for Travel pay

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care with a focus on individualized patient assessments, planning, and implementation.
  • Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapies in compliance with established protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans based on patient needs and progress.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  • Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions, health maintenance, and treatment objectives.
  • Document all nursing care accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia or compact state.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; certifications must be current and valid.
  • Ability to work night and day shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • IV Heparin administration
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy and support.
  • Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and remain flexible in a fast-paced work setting.
