Title: Automation Lead- (Ground Ops)

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Long term

Rate: $50/hr on corp to corp

Must have:

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

• Work with business and development teams to draft automation test strategies
• Build and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks for UI and/or Services
• Execute automation tests and report results 

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent formal training.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Strong background in core Java and hands-on experience on Java-related projects
• 7 + years of experience in Java development preferred
• 5 + years as a technical lead in Test Automation frameworks
• 4 + years of experience utilizing TestNG working with Java
• 5 + years of experience utilizing Selenium WebDriver
• 4+ years of experience in an Agile environment
• Experience in advanced XPath, CSS
• Ability to write automated test scripts
• Good troubleshooting, code debugging, root cause analysis
• Experience in Web services (REST) & Database validation automation preferred
• Experience in developing an automation framework preferred
• Experience in build tools Jenkins/Maven/Gradle 
• Excellent team player and ability to collaborate with peers
• Passion to deliver high-quality work and good communication skills

Lead Responsibilities:

• Experience in developing automation test strategy, automation framework, script design, script execution across various teams.
• Experience in mentoring and providing technical support to QE's
• Experience in measuring automation output and speed of automation across teams based on resources allocated
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and gather automation requirements
• Experience in reducing the automation cycle time, minimizing human error, and increasing the speed and efficiency of the automation execution
• Experience in preparing automation Roadmaps

Additional Skills and Experience:

•  Experience using GitLab

•  Experience working in AWS – preferred

•  Experience in an Agile (especially SAFe) environment - preferred

•  Experience with manual testing – a plus

•  Prior experience or knowledge of Aviation - a plus

•  AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB services
