Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring for one of Europe's leading paper industry companies, a family-owned business with a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. With a substantial global presence in graphic papers, corrugated base paper, and corrugated packaging, this organization utilizes 100% recycled paper as its raw material. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their significant production facility.

The Role

  • Operate and monitor production machinery, both on-site and from the control room.
  • Manage the startup and shutdown procedures of the paper machine, including paper web re-threading during breaks.
  • Supervise material changes and direct assigned personnel.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and manage scraper replacements.
  • Adjust and verify paper web tension.
  • Oversee quality parameters using control systems and laboratory data.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training as a Papiertechnologe or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Papiertechnologe is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Experience with operating and monitoring industrial machinery and control systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Willingness to work in a 5-shift operational model.
