The Role

• Assemble steel structures for 110kV to 380kV switchgear, including air and gas-insulated systems.
• Install high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems, including components like HV terminals, and support insulators.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, along with pipe and cable fitting, including cable pulling.
• Review and update plan documents with revisions.
• Contribute to new build and modernization projects across southeastern Germany.

What You'll Need

• Completed training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in locksmithing, preferably from the construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or supply engineering sectors.
• Experience with electrical systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and a willingness to travel to project sites with a personal vehicle are required.
• Readiness for regular assembly assignments from Monday to Thursday within southeastern Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
