  • Opportunity to work across a significant roadmap of Workday integration initiatives.
  • Exposure to emerging Workday capabilities including Extend, Orchestrate, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Potential for the engagement to extend beyond the initial contract term.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Design and develop advanced Workday integrations from the ground up using Workday Studio and related integration technologies.
  • Serve as a hands-on technical lead across multiple Workday projects and integration initiatives.
  • Design integration solutions connecting Workday with enterprise systems and downstream applications.
  • Collaborate with Workday functional leads to understand end-to-end processes and translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Work with enterprise technology teams supporting platforms such as Oracle, ServiceNow, and other business applications.
  • Develop and support integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, payroll connectors, APIs, web services, and file-based integration approaches.
  • Lead source-to-target integration testing, develop test scenarios, troubleshoot defects, and validate end-to-end data flows.
  • Follow structured change-management, documentation, security, and production-support practices.
  • Help the organization prepare for future adoption of Workday Extend, Orchestrate, automation, and AI-related functionality.

Requirements

Do You Bring Proven Success in Workday Integration Development and Technical Leadership?

  • 8+ years of strong Workday integration experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build complex Workday Studio integrations from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday APIs, REST/SOAP web services, XML/XSLT, and integration architecture.
  • Experience with payroll-related integration technologies such as PECI and PICOF is strongly valued.

  • Ability to serve as a technical lead while remaining directly involved in development.
  • Experience working across multiple enterprise projects, stakeholders, technical teams, and downstream application owners.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience with Workday Extend or Orchestrate is preferred but not mandatory if you have strong Workday integration fundamentals and can ramp quickly.
  • Workday AI, Illuminate, agent, automation, or broader AI experience is a plus.
  • Workday certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, technical documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to consistently work Eastern Time business hours.
