Job Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
2+ years of professional electrical design engineering experience for Engineer II; higher levels require additional experience. Experience with electrical calculations, technical evaluations, specifications, drawings, and design packages. Experience with power distribution, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, breakers, motors, generators, or cables. Knowledge of load flow, voltage drop, short-circuit, grounding, and protection/coordination studies preferred.

Experience with single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring, lighting, grounding, or raceway design. Experience supporting design changes, modification packages, field walkdowns, testing, installation, or implementation. Commercial nuclear experience, particularly operating nuclear power plants. EIT preferred; PE registration a plus. Must be able to obtain and maintain required nuclear-site access and pass required background, drug, training, and site-access requirements.

Ability to work in office and operating nuclear plant environments, including field walkdowns, outages, travel, and overtime as required.
