This employer is seeking a highly technical and mission-focused Senior CNO Software Engineer to contribute to critical national security efforts. The role involves developing advanced capabilities within a collaborative environment, tackling complex technical challenges to support vital customer missions.

The Role

• Design and develop new hardware or software-based CNO capabilities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of applications software and systems, including design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging.
• Apply expert knowledge of security concepts and network technologies.
• Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.

What You'll Need

• BS Degree in a technical discipline with 14+ years of technical experience, OR High School Diploma with 18+ years of technical experience.
• Proficiency in Python or C/C++.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
• Familiarity with low-level system internals across platforms like Windows, Unix, Mobile, or network devices.
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming.
• Proven experience developing CNO capabilities and leading the development of technical CNO solutions.
• Must possess a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance.
