Sr. DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) with Security Clearance

Shadowgate Partners is recruiting a senior DevOps Engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise for a client that has provided SIGINT and specialized communications systems to the Intelligence Community for more than 40 years. Base salary is up to $220,000, based on education and experience, and is supported by an exceptionally strong retirement and benefits package (see below). You’ll migrate and deploy applications across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, onboard new tenants, help developers build deployments and stand up common services. What you’ll do:

• Build and operate workloads on Kubernetes using CNCF tools
• Migrate and deploy applications in on-premises and cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible and Puppet
• Deploy through CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins
• Monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or a related field
• 10+ years of experience
• Very strong, hands-on Kubernetes experience (the most important requirement)
• Linux experience (RHEL 9)
• Automation with Python, Bash, Ansible or similar
• Docker experience
• Active TS with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph Preferred - Master’s degree
• Current CI Polygraph
• AWS or Azure, or HPE and VMware experience
• Storage provisioning (OpenEBS, S3) and microservices architecture Benefits - 25% employer 401(k) contribution, fully vested on day one. On a $200K base salary, the company puts $50K into your 401(k).
