?? Location: Cheltenham (Remote within the UK possible)
?? Contract Type: Contract (via umbrella)

Role Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Install and configure Windchill and its integrations in a cloud environment according to the migration plan.
• Execute Windchill upgrade processes, including applying patches, hotfixes, and major version upgrades.
• Support bulk data migration from on-premises systems to the cloud while ensuring data integrity.
• Thoroughly test deployed solutions (workflows, configurations, integrations) to guarantee proper functionality.
• Propose solutions and resolve issues encountered during Windchill cloud migration and upgrades.
• Diagnose and fix system errors, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity anomalies using logs and analysis tools.
• Continuously monitor application and database performance and optimize configurations for efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of the new cloud environment, including processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Act as a key liaison with PTC support, IT teams (network, database) and product owners to resolve issues and meet objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven Windchill Administration experience.
• Windchill Customization and configuration expertise, including workflows and lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Windchill data utilities, soft typing, loaders, and ACLs.
• Experience with JDBC, API development, and MS SQL or Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GIT and JIRA.

Nice to Have:

• Data migration experience, including scripting and writing migration utilities.
• Experience with Windchill Bulk Migration.
