Job Description

Job Title: Application Developer (this role is open for candidates local to Oklahoma City, OK only )
Client Agency: the State of Oklahoma 
Number of Vacancy : 06
Pay range: $30-35/hr on W2 - no benefits will be provided on billable hrs. 
Expereince required : 01 - 06 years only (please don't apply in you have more expereince then the mention range)
Duration: 09 months
Location :  Oklahoma City, OK 73105
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Interview Process : In-person only 
  • One 30-minute interview per applicant.
  • Agency reserves the right to conduct a secondary interview.
  • Interviews will be held onsite.

Beginner to Intermediate Experience

Must have experience with:

  • JavaScript
  • SQL — T-SQL preferred, but any SQL experience is acceptable
  • HTML
  • CSS

Description

The state of Oklahoma is looking for development support for its new Inspections application. The application will allow agency field inspectors to collect agricultural inspections data via online forms, save the data to a SQL database, and generate and store PDF documents. The Department’s existing inspections program is scheduled to be decommissioned in Spring 2027, and the replacement system is being developed in-house. Essential to this effort is a contracted developer practiced with JavaScript and SQL whose experience level ranges from beginner to intermediate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Convert approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into new interactive HTML forms for department inspectors.
  • Use JavaScript to build functionality for inspector inputs to be saved to the SQL database.
  • Use Jinja templates to compile those inputs back into new PDF files.
  • Provide additional JavaScript development support as needed to help keep the current project on track.
