The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities that support the UTAC US commercial strategy and generate measurable sales opportunities. The role will manage digital marketing initiatives, content development, campaign performance, and marketing support for the Sales Team while coordinating with UTAC Global and Central Communications. The primary focus is to build market awareness, create qualified demand, provide actionable marketing insights, and equip the commercial team with effective materials. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and translate technical capabilities into clear customer-focused communications. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities are critical to the success of this individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of UTAC USA Sales to:
- Develop and execute an annual US marketing plan aligned with sales targets, growth priorities, and target markets.
- Build a detailed understanding of customers, markets, competitors, and UTAC capabilities
- Support campaigns and initiatives designed to increase qualified leads and new business opportunities.
- Own and maintain U.S. market website content, ensuring landing pages, product information, and marketing assets are accurate, relevant, and optimized for lead generation and SEO performance.
- Manage Google Analytics and marketing performance dashboards, delivering actionable insights on website traffic, user engagement, lead conversions, and campaign effectiveness to drive data-informed decision making and continuous optimization.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid search and PPC pilot campaigns, including keyword strategy, budgets, landing pages, performance tracking, and return on investment.
- Track marketing-sourced leads in Salesforce through qualification and opportunity creation, coordinating lead routing, follow-up expectations, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain an integrated content calendar across digital, print, and event marketing channels, including website content, social media, email campaigns, trade shows, third-party publications, partner marketing initiatives, sales enablement materials, and internal communications, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives.
- Create customer-facing content and collateral, including brochures, sales sheets, case studies, white papers, articles, presentations, and trade show graphics.
- Coordinate the development and production of branded digital and print marketing materials, leveraging internal or external creative resources as needed.
- Support the creation of photography, video, interviews, and customer testimonials to enhance marketing campaigns and sales activities.
- Work with subject matter experts to translate complex testing and equipment capabilities into accurate, customer-focused messaging.
- Maintain organized and current US marketing materials, templates, shared asset libraries, and brand compliance.
- Coordinate with UTAC Global and Central Communication Team on website updates, brand standards, and corporate communications.
- Support trade show planning, promotion, collateral, lead capture, and post-event follow-up reporting.
- Research customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and potential growth segments.
- Assist in supporting the UTAC culture and values (Integrity, Expertise, and Innovation).
- Support commercial activities, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional projects as required to achieve business objectives and support organizational growth.
Preferred Qualifications (Not required)
- Photography, videography, video editing, and content creation experience are highly desirable and considered a significant asset for supporting digital marketing, trade shows, customer stories, and brand-building initiatives.
- Graphic design capabilities and experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma are strongly preferred and would enable greater ownership of marketing collateral, digital assets, and visual communications.
- Candidates with advanced creative production skills, including photography, videography, editing, and design, will be strongly differentiated.
Education and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, or a related field, and one to three years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Business-to-business marketing experience required; experience within the TIC, automotive, transport, engineering, or technical services sectors is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, digital performance reporting, and campaign analysis required.
- Experience with Google Ads, paid search, PPC campaign management, SEO, or landing-page optimization is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform and marketing lead attribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or comparable creative tools is preferred.
- Photography, videography, and short-form video editing experience are highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to understand technical subject matter and convert it into clear, customer-focused content.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and recommend actions.
- Strong project management, time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency and content accuracy.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter who can manage priorities independently and take ownership of assignments.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team with members of varying roles and levels.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites as needed.
- Consistently adhere to and support all UTAC policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, twist, speak, hear, and move throughout office, laboratory, or facility environments.
- May be required to lift and/or move materials, marketing supplies, trade show materials, or equipment as needed.
- May be exposed to industry-accepted chemicals, noise, and active testing or facility environments.
- Must be able to travel between work sites and support trade shows, events, and customer-facing activities as needed.
