Job Title: Senior Linux Engineer

Location: Pennington, NJ / Jersey City, NJ / NYC, NY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote per Week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration, infrastructure automation, production support, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise environments, automating infrastructure operations, and troubleshooting complex production issues.

Top 3 Required Skills

• Linux Administration

• Python – ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot Python-based applications

• AWS or Azure Cloud

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals and system administration.

• Strong infrastructure automation experience using Ansible.

• Experience supporting large-scale production environments.

• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace for monitoring and performance troubleshooting.

• Recent experience with AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes deployments.

• Experience deploying and managing enterprise tools at scale.

• Familiarity with Splunk and/or Grafana for monitoring, logging, and observability.

• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support skills.

• Python knowledge sufficient to read, understand, and work with Python-based applications.

Python Requirement

The Quartz application is written in Python. Candidates do not need to be Python developers but must be comfortable reading and understanding Python code and troubleshooting issues involving Python-based applications.
