    • For barrister or advocate pathways: relevant professional qualification and practice experience (where applicable)
    • For legal operations, contracts, compliance, or specialist roles: relevant degree and substantial sector experience (legal qualification beneficial but not always essential)
  • Experience: Typically 5–12+ years of progressive legal experience (in-house and/or private practice), suited to mid–senior level scope
  • Demonstrated capability in one or more areas such as commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment, disputes, regulatory, compliance, privacy, property, or legal operations
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and risk-based decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with commonly used legal systems/tools (where relevant), such as document management systems, matter management, e-billing, CLM platforms, and Microsoft 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities confidentially and professionally
