SAP Project Manager

Role: SAP Project Manager - SAP Finance Implementation (FaaST Program) Key Responsibilities

Location: Irvine, CA (3 days office 2days remote)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for SAP Finance implementation initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate activities across business, functional, technical, and vendor teams.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Drive requirement gathering, solution design, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and organizational standards.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, PMO, and IT leadership teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure successful business outcomes.
• Support change management and user adoption activities.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise technology projects.
• 3+ years of experience managing SAP Finance implementation or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance modules, including:
• SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
• SAP CO (Controlling)
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Financial Reporting
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
• Experience working with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience.
• Experience with large-scale ERP transformation programs.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
• Experience in Finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing system integrators and third-party vendors.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain organizations.
