Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong cloud, automation, and CI/CD experience and a background in the Energy / Utilities domain. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, supporting cloud environments, and improving application reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
  • Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Automate build, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
  • Manage Jenkins, Git, GitHub/GitLab, or similar DevOps tools.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and application teams.
  • Implement security, scalability, availability, and performance best practices.
  • Support enterprise applications used within Energy / Utilities environments.
  • Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  • Energy / Utilities / Oil & Gas / Power industry experience preferred.
