We're seeking a TemporaryElectrical Electronic Components Engineer to join our Electrical/ Electronic components Team (EEC). In this role you will play a key role in the development, integration and delivery of electrical and electronic components that power our motorcycles. Working across the full product development lifecycle, you will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust, cost-effective and compliant solutions, while driving technical innovation and continuous product improvement.

Please note this role is a 6 month contract and is a fully onsite position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Component Development
  • Develop, integrate and deliver electrical and electronic components, managing specifications, drawings, validation and release activities to meet quality, cost and timing targets.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure components meet technical, commercial, regulatory and performance requirements, supporting verification, validation and issue resolution.
• Supplier Management
  • Work closely with suppliers to support component development, monitor deliverables and ensure programme milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate technical reviews, manage engineering queries, assess the impact of supplier changes, and escalate risks and issues as required.
• Technical Problem Solving
  • Investigate and resolve component and system-level issues using structured problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing, validation and field investigations, driving lessons learned and continuous design improvement.

Skills & Experience required:

• BEng or Meng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• Significant experience within the automotive, motorcycle, industrial or related engineering sectors.
• Experience in electrical or electronic component development, with a strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems, technical specifications, validation methods and testing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with suppliers and technical stakeholders and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Hours of Work: 39 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
