Senior Systems Security Engineer [$235k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Serve as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) overseeing operational security postures and policy enforcement. • Maintain security compliance, support Certification && Accreditation (C&&A), and conduct system and network vulnerability assessments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate threats, manage IAVAs, and oversee configuration management for security-relevant hardware, software, and firmware.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 20+ years • Total Compensation: $235k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. • Maintain the operational security posture for enterprise information systems across connected, standalone, and isolated environments. • Support Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) management, including initiating scans, completing vulnerability remediation, and deploying security patches. • Develop and update System Security Plans (SSPs) and maintain comprehensive documentation for Certification && Accreditation. • Provide configuration management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware. • Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms and evaluate security architectures to ensure compliance.
