Job Description
Essel Environmental is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Project Types:Wet/Dry Underground Utilities, Infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training to employees on various topics including OSHA regulations and emergency response procedures
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents
- Collaborate with management to ensure a safe work environment
- Education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Proven experience working in safety compliance, risk management, or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in EHS or related field is a plus
