Pay Rate: Up to $93-115/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Architect to support a greenfield implementation. This role involves leading business users through a digital transformation from legacy CMMS systems (specifically IBM Maximo) to SAP S/4HANA PM.

The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on configuration expertise, strong solution design experience, and a nurturing leadership style to assist end-users through data migration, training, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Best Practices: Provide input on solution design decisions, validate best practices, and offer recommendations for PM/EAM processes.
• Hands-on Configuration: Configure SAP S/4HANA PM to support in-scope business processes and write functional specifications for key development objects.
• Data Migration & Troubleshooting: Guide data migration activities, troubleshoot data issues, and assist with legacy-to-SAP transitions.
• User Enablement & Training: Deliver hands-on training, transactional guidance, and change management support to customer stakeholders.
• Testing & Support: Create test cases, perform defect remediation, and support security role build-outs alongside the security team.

Required Standard Skills & Experience

• SAP S/4HANA: 7+ years (Advanced proficiency in S/4HANA Fiori UX transactional skills for Plant Maintenance).
• SAP PM (Plant Maintenance): 7+ years (Strong architect background with hands-on configuration experience).
• CMMS Migration Experience: 7+ years (Proven experience transitioning systems from Maximo to SAP PM).

Custom Skills Requirements

• Soft Skills & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate client-facing meetings and explain complex solutions to non-technical users.
• Leadership & Change Support: Experienced leader with a proven track record of patient, hands-on user guidance and hand-holding during system adoption.
• Architecture & Design: Significant experience designing PM/EAM solutions and guiding executive/business decision-making.

1. Hands-on Configuration: Does the candidate have hands-on SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance solution configuration, modeling, and transactional business process execution skills? (Yes/No)
2. Fiori UX: Does the candidate have demonstrated experience showcasing PM solution capabilities via S/4HANA Fiori Apps? (Yes/No)
3. Greenfield & CMMS Transition: Has the candidate led teams from a legacy plant maintenance solution (e.g., IBM Maximo) to SAP S/4HANA as part of a greenfield implementation? (Yes/No)
4. Lifecycle Experience: Has the candidate completed at least 6 full SAP Plant Maintenance Design-to-Go-Live project cycles? (Yes/No)
5. Travel Availability: Is the candidate willing and able to travel onsite to Savannah, GA weekly until 11/15? (Yes/No)
