Gas EngineerBirmingham (B66)Total package £60,000 £65,000
We are recruiting a Gas Engineer for a long-established engineering manufacturer in Birmingham, offering a total package of £60,000 to £65,000. This is a hands-on, field-based role working with industrial gas-fired equipment, supported by a friendly and down-to-earth engineering team.This Gas Engineer position offers structured work, full training on specialist equipment and an excellent work-life balance, including a 1pm Friday finish and paid travel time.Key responsibilitiesCarry out planned servicing of industrial gas-fired equipmentWork from pre-planned schedules with clear job information providedTravel to UK customer sites approximately three days per weekAccess technical support from colleagues where requiredSupport one major annual project involving approximately 12 nights awayEnsure high standards of safety, quality and customer servicePackage and benefitsTotal package £60,000 to £65,000Basic salary £45,000Company car plus paid travel time£3,000 discretionary bonusMedical benefit valued at £720Overtime paid after 8 hours per day, including travel1pm finish every FridayAbout youExperience as a Gas Engineer in industrial gas or commercial gas settingsRelevant gas qualifications such as ACS, COCN1, ICPN1 or similar are welcome, current or lapsedFull UK driving licence and UK passport requiredComfortable working in industrial environments including heat, dust, confined spaces and working at heightStrong communication skills and team-focused approachThis is an excellent opportunity for a Gas Engineer looking for long-term development, structured work and a supportive employer with modern engineering technology.
