Business Systems Analyst

Summary
As the liaison between internal and external clients and IT, you will gather business needs, translate them into functional requirements, and drive software enhancements from design through release.

Key Responsibilities

• Interview end users and clients to define requirements for complex software changes
• Turn business requirements into functional specifications: system requirements, flow charts, report mock-ups, and business rules
• Facilitate design sessions between business and technical teams; consult on back-end database issues
• Lead projects end to end: plan, prioritize, track status, and report to management and stakeholders
• Run quality checks before release to QA; manage releases for assigned applications
• Mentor less experienced Business Systems Analysts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8-12+ years of related experience; PBM or healthcare industry experience a plus
• Working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile Scrum, with emphasis on Scrum Master responsibilities
• Oracle relational databases and SQL; OLTP, ETL, and client-server concepts
• Visio, UML, and Microsoft Office
• Strong requirements elicitation, use case modeling, swim lane diagrams, and meeting facilitation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service
