The Role

• Operate heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to load and unload shipping containers.
• Safely move and position containers within the intermodal yard using specialized vehicles.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to efficiently manage container movements.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to established protocols.
• Play a critical role in the efficient flow of freight within the logistics network.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and a keen eye for detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
