Description
SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician in Hanahan, SC.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids); personal and main frame computers and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, and controlling equipment; and industrial robotic devices.
• Determines equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
• Performs simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout. One (1) year of practical experience in electronics installation. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.

Required Security Clearance:

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
