Job Description

SAP HCM Payroll Consultant
Location: Remote, with possible travel to Jackson, Michigan
Experience: 7–9 years
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering
Primary skill: SAP HCM US Payroll
 
 
*Required experience:*
 
Hands-on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA HCM experience
Strong knowledge of HR processes and business rules
Proven SAP US Payroll implementation and production-support experience
Payroll schema modifications and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs)
Payroll processing and time evaluation
Configuration and support of:Personnel Administration (PA)
Organizational Management (OM)
Benefits
US Payroll
Time Management
Organizational and enterprise structure design
Time-policy configuration and optimization
Payroll, Benefits, time-recording, shift-scheduling, and time-data troubleshooting
Third-party application integrations
HR workflow automation
Support for custom and non-standard solutions
Knowledge of applicable labor laws, regulations, and HR policies
SAP HCM certification
 
Key responsibilities:
Gather requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders on enhancements.
Configure SAP HCM modules to align with business processes.
Support US Payroll, time evaluation, Benefits, and integrations.
Troubleshoot functional and production issues.
Provide technical guidance to the delivery team.
Participate in feasibility reviews, solution design, risk assessment, and estimation.
Establish quality standards and oversee performance optimization.
Define project scope, deliverables, and objectives with stakeholders.
Prepare status reports and manage risks and escalations.
