This position works closely with front-office users and technology teams responsible for fixed-income and derivatives trading applications. The successful professional will combine deep capital markets knowledge with strong Python engineering skills to automate and validate complex trading workflows.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Design and develop Python-based automated testing solutions for front-office trading applications.
• Build and maintain automated API and UI test coverage across sales and trading workflows.
• Validate fixed-income and derivatives applications supporting products such as swaps, bonds, caps/floors, and swaptions.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of trading platforms and connected services.
• Partner directly with front-office users to understand trade workflows, business requirements, and testing priorities.
• Validate trading-system functionality, market data, transaction flows, and application integrations.
• Analyze automated test failures and application defects and collaborate with engineering teams through resolution.
• Develop reusable automation components that improve testing efficiency and release confidence.
• Ensure testing accurately represents real-world capital markets processes and financial product behavior.
• Maintain appropriate testing evidence, plans, data, and execution results.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Front Office QA Engineering and Fixed Income?

• 10+ years of technology, QA engineering, automation testing, or closely related experience.
• Extensive experience within Fixed Income Capital Markets.
• Strong understanding of front-office sales and trading workflows.
• Hands-on experience testing trading systems used by front-office users.
• Strong Python programming skills with recent hands-on experience developing test automation.
• Demonstrated API automation experience.
• Demonstrated UI automation experience.
• Experience with Selenium, TestNG, or comparable automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of fixed-income and derivatives products, preferably including:
• Swaps
• Bonds
• Caps and floors
• Swaptions
• Experience validating trade workflows, transaction processing, market data, or trading-system integrations.
• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with traders, developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams.
• Experience operating within Agile and continuous-integration environments.
